DIY: bottle top magnets

Step 1: Drink some thing with a bottle cap and save them.

Step 2: Get together your bottle caps, foam tape, magnet strips, white nail polish, clear nail polish and any other colors you want.

Step 3: Stick on the foam tape then but the magnet on after. Make sure the magnet sticks out of the cap other wise it will scratch the surface.

Step 4: Paint your bottle cap with an opaque layer of white leave to dry, mine took half an hour but yours may take more or less time depending on how many layers of polish you did

Step 5: Get your other colors and do dots of color or stripes or whatever you want! Leave to dry.

Step 6: Paint over it with the clear polish, make sure the bottle cap is fully dried before other wise it will smudge the design.

You can design it according to your style it will give a little creative touch or you can give it to someone as a present.

Tips to not eat too much

I'm not saying that people need to stop eating but i know that sometimes I've eaten a full meal but still feel hungry. These are a few things to stop me from eating TOO much.

Drink cold water-this fills up your stomach and your body will burn calories trying to heat up the water
Eat things like cucumbers, raspberries and other fruits & veg- some vegetables don't have any calories but will still fill you up.

Another way is, instead of eating 3 big meals eat 6 small meals spaced out through out the days.

Smoothie time!

If you're like me, you don't really want to eat in the mornings. It has been proven that if you do not eat in the morning you will be a lot hungrier during the day. So instead of going on an empty stomach why don't you drink your first meal?

We're gonna make a smoothie! There are a lot of recipes all over the world but i'm just going to make a simple one that tastes great.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups (12 ounces) plain fat-free yogurt
3 to 4 bananas, peeled, cut into chunks
14 ounces strawberries with stems removed, roughly chopped to equal 3 cups
1/4 cup skim milk or soy milk
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup ice
(none of the measurements are exact and you can change according to proportion)

The bananas and strawberries are full of antioxidants and will naturally wake you up without caffeine. The banana will slowly release energy throughout the day.

The only step is to add to your blender and purée to your hearts desire. Enjoy!

DIY Body Butter

Yay! Another DIY.
This quick and easy DIY would be great for a gift or just to give yourself a treat.
Ingredients and thins you will need:
Coconut oil
An essential oil of your choice
A hand held whisk
A cute jar or container

Instructions:
Step 1:
Get your coconut oil and scoop out as much as you want to fill your container. Coconut oil will be the base of the cream. The oils will infuse with your skin and soak deep down so it will moisturise a whole lot better than other products with chemicals.

Step 2:
Get your whisk and go crazy (not literally)! It should whip up and look like whipped cream.

Step 3: Add any of your essential oils to your preference. You could also add a food colouring to give it a tint so it looks really nice. Just don't add to much because it could stain your skin, it most likely won't but you never know.
Step 4:
Finally put your moisturiser into a jar and decorate as you see fit. An ideas would be to make a little tag and tie it on with a ribbon. And your finished!

fake nails

Fake nails can look really pretty if you have shorter nails. Also they are hassle free, since you just stick them on. sometimes they come cheaper than buying products to make your nails look healthy and longer, then buying a polish. I went through a phase of wearing fake nails a lot since I bit my real nails.

The more i put them on the longer my nails grew.Although they were longer they were really unhealthy. It was from the glue. Sticking the nails on for so long with glue and then ripping them off was really harsh for the nail bed. Also my cuticles weren't getting enough moisture so they started peeling at the sides.

Fake nails may seem like a good idea but just wait for your nails to grow. If you don't have the patients you can buy loads of products that will help.

Is Balmi as good as EOS?

EOS/ Evolution Of Smooth

Lip balms are one of my favourite things to buy. They come in such a variety of scents an formulations. Usually if my lips are really sore or cracked I will go for something from Blistex which really helps. But other wise i always want to try any that are different. That's why EOS really stood out for me. EOS stands for Evolution Of Smooth. It is a spherical shape and a roll on lip balm. It has plenty of product for a reasonable price. The only problem is, it is only made and sold in drug stores in America (I ordered mine from E bay). In the UK certain larger boots sell a product called Balmi. is exactly the same as EOS just not as big and it also doesn't have as many scents
Balmi
I prefer EOS though because it is better quality and leaves my lips moisturised. Balmi leave my lips feeling nice for a brief period of time and then it makes them feel even worse. Also Balmi costs £5 approx. depending on where you go. But E bay sells EOS for as little as £2.50. So if you want a really cool good quality lip balm for a cheap(ish) price then i would recommend EOS.

Do those multi-vitamins really work?

Most people in day to day life don't have the time to go shopping and look for the best quality, healthy foods. So, to solve that problem we created multi-vitamin's. But are they really worth it?

If you eat an orange it is jam-packed with the vitamins that you need such as; vitamin c, vitamin B1, Potassium and calcium. Just because you have taken a multi-vitamin doesn't mean it makes up for what you could get from eating fruits. You won't find calcium in most multi-vitamin's since it is too bulky for a pill.

Some people eat healthily, yet the still take multi-vitamins. After a while this could create negative side effects, 'too much of anything can make you sick'.

If you seriously can't fit in any time to buy a few fruits and vegetables, then you need to find the right vitamin for you. There are specific vitamins for age groups or stages of your life that you are going through. if you do find the right one they may work really well for you. Just be aware you can't swap them out for food just because you are getting some nutrition.
